3 weeks, and then finals week, and then I will be DONE with this quarter!
Just a brief post as I have lots to do tonight (laundry, cleaning room, reading, writing papers, doing my resume, and the Husky basketball game!).
I am applying for the paralegal program (as well as various jobs) tomorrow after class... wish me luck!
Oh, and I also went running today - gotta take advantage of this great weather while it's around!
I'm 24 and a graduate of the University of Washington. I have run 3 marathons, 11 half marathons, and 3 triathlons so far and am looking forward to more! I am currently working in accounting, and have just started learning how to knit! I also love hiking, camping, and being outside in nature in general, as well as sports, cooking, baking, and music!

Almost Friday...
I've pretty much survived this stressful week (3 papers and 2 midterms) intact... we'll have to wait and see if my grades did! After today, though, I don't have any more midterms for another week and a half, which will give me a chance to catch up on everything else.
Just a short post to write out some of my life goals and short term goals... just because I'm bored. :)
1. Do the Seattle to Portland bike ride
2. Run a 50 mile race
3. Do an IronMan Triathlon
4. Have a happy family
5. Own a horse
6. Have a decent career that I don't hate
Short term (next few months) goals:
1. Lose 10 pounds (and tone up!) by graduation
2. Get a good base of 30-35 mpw for running
3. Swim and strength train at least 3 times a week
4. Pass all my classes and graduate!
5. Apply for the paralegal program
Wish me luck!

Updated list and updates in general
My bad... it's been ages (again). In my defense, I have the flu and I'm taking 20 credits this quarter, so I haven't run much at all lately and therefore haven't really wanted to post much. However, in the interest of getting going again once I feel bettter... Here is my updated (still tentative) race list for 2009:
3/15/09 - St. Patrick's Day Dash
5/2/09 - Bloomsday 12K
5/24/09 - Beat the Bridge 8K
6/13/09 - Lake Youngs Ultra (the 19.2 mile version)
6/27/09 - Seattle Rock N Roll 1/2 Marathon
7/25/09 - Torchlight Run 8K
8/16/09 - Danskin Women's Triathlon
9/6/09 - Skagit Flats 1/2 Marathon
10/4/09 - Portland Marathon
11/29/09 - Seattle Marathon
12/?/09 - Jingle Bell Run 5K
Of course, the fact that I'm doing a triathlon means that I need to start spending more time in the pool (and/or lake!), and you know, get a bike... haha. It'll be fun though. Just can't wait for this cold to go away so I can get off my butt and back to it!
In school news - one midterm and three papers done, a midterm tomorrow and one on Thursday, and one next week and probably more papers due then as well. Yippee! I register for spring quarter on February 20 - kind of weird that I only have one left! (but also very very good) At some point this spring I'll also have to apply for graduation and for the paralegal program... and find a job...!
I am pretty excited after looking over class options for next quarter - here is the schedule that I want:

10:30-11:20 - Soc 366
